Ice maker not dumping ice After having the refridgerator unplugged for a couple hours, the ice maker is not dumping ice. There are ice cubes made, ready to dump. I tried raising and lowering the lever in the ice maker. I also checked the water supply...I am able to fill a glass of water from the water dispensor.

Make sure the freezer is at least 17 degrees or colder (colder is better). If you have a square cover on the end of the ice maker see if you can pull it off and press on the gear face (don't turn just press). That may clean the electrical contact springs and get it working again. Basically if ya got water, 17 degrees or colder you will get ice. Other than that the ice maker motor module is likely bad (broken gear, etc.). Pretty common.
