How to remove a 1990 Honda Goldwing GL 1500 factory CB radio? I have a transmitt problem with the factory CB radio on my 1990 Honda Goldwing GL 1500 SE. It does transmit, but the signal is muddy and garbled on the receiving end. I have tuned the antenna with a SWR meter, and cleaned all the antenna and electrical connenctions and the antenna mounting base, with no real improvment. I am now thinking the problem is within the CB radio itself. I found a company who repairs these units, but I need to know how to access the mounting bolts to remove the radio. Can it be done through the left fairing pocket, or do I have to remove more of the fairing to gain access? Thanks in advance for any help with this matter.
