How to fix electronic throttle control on 2004 dodge ram 1500 the dash light came on flashing and power was greatly diminished but truck did not stall. Was able to pull over and turn egine off and restart and light went out and we continued out trip. This happened in the 100 to 150 miles of a 500 mile trip and all was well until about the last 30 miles and it did it again. We pulled over again and switched off and back on and the light went out again. Is this possible bad fuel or is the sensor

You need the engine control system scanned to see what fault code is in memory for this problem once you have the fault code you do diagnostics to determine which part or parts are failing. I warn you don't guess all the parts (with few exceptions) in the electronic throttle control are very expensive.
