1997 Buick Lesabre with transmission problems gets codes P0107 and P0756 Hi, My Buick has 166k miles on it. For the last couple of years it has had a transmission leak. I've tried to get it repaired, and have spent about a grand trying to get this leak repaired, to no avail. When the fluid runs low, it has hard shifts, and the car does this weird thing were if I stop at a stop sign or a stop light it has a lot of trouble getting out of first gear. I'll hit the gas, and the car will limp along weakly until it manages to get out of first gear, and then can drive normally. The car drives great on the highway, and sometimes awful in the city. Anyway, the check engine light came on a couple of weeks ago, and I got the codes: P0107 - MAP Sensor P0756 - Shift Solenoid Sensor (X2) Do you have any idea what these codes could mean? What kind of repairs could be done? Thanks for any input.
