Acer aspire usb doesn't recognise fat32 or ntfs on thumb-drive have formatted a couple of different brand thumb drives as fat32 and ntfs, copied a couple of files to each. When put into usb slot on laptop the properties are "format RAW" & it says there's nothing on thumb drives. How do I change the RAW to fat32 or ntfs ?

It seems that the "format" that you perform is corrupted. So try Hewlett-Packard's USB Disk Storage Format Tool
