Yamaha v star 1100 classic rear cylinder timing Did the starter clutch repair/replace job that is common to these bikes. But when i started the bike, there was a metallic clacking sound seeming to come from the rear cylinder. Checked the timing marks, and when the lower mark is on the T line, the rear cylinder dot on the gear is off by 2 gear teeth. I assume that's causing the problem.
