Exterior CKL49-1A AC Unit not blowing cold air I have a CKL49-1A and the fan is not working on the outside unit. I had a technician recharge it, but it only blew cold air for two dyas. I was told that I needed to change the evaporator coil that cost $2100. Would this type of problem cause the fan to stop working and stop blow cold air in the interior?

is the compressor trying to run without the fan? But, if the system is low on refrigerant AND the system has a low pressure switch, this would cause the fan and the compressor to shut down. with that said, if your system is only holding a charge for 2 days, not only is it against the law to recharge it, it's not intelligent either. best wishes!!
