How to cancel Spotify Premium

Spotify is a popular online music streaming service. But if you want to cancel your Premium subscription you can do so by accessing the Spotify website. How to delete your Spotify Account

If you have left Spotify and don’t want to leave your account dormant, you can delete your account in a matter of minutes. However, you’ll need a browser to do so. It is not possible to delete your Spotify account from the app.  In case you want to delete your Spotify account permanently, you won’t be able to use a student discount for another year. Nor will you be able to use the same username. However, you can create another account with the same email.  Follow these steps to delete your Spotify account: Deleting Spotify Account If you are sure about deleting your account, launch your browser and hover over to the Spotify website. Now open the customer support page and click on the account button. Click on the “I want to close my account” button in the next section.  Click the close account button in the next section. Tap the Close account button again for confirmation.  You would now be asked to verify your account. After you verify your account details click on continue. Click on I understand in the next section then click the continue button. Spotify will now send you an email with a link to deactivate your account. Click on this email and tap the close my account button. This email is valid for 24 hours only. Once you’ve done all this you will be directed to a page to confirm your account deletion. That’s all, you are good to go.

How to send Spotify Invites

Spotify Family plan is a great way to share a Spotify plan with family or friends. And Spotify makes it easy to manage, because Spotify allows the administrator to add or remove members from the plan. Inviting a Family Member  Open the Spotify accounts page on the Family Administrator’s account. Click “Manage” under the “Manage your Family Plan” tab.  Tap “Invite”.   Enter the member’s email address. Tap “Send invite”.  Accepting an Invite  Open the email with the invitation and click on “Accept Activation”.  Log into your Spotify account. Sign up if you don’t have a Spotify account yet.  To redeem the family plan invite code, click on “Redeem”.  Enter the code from the invitation email.  Removing a Family Member    Open the Spotify accounts page on the Family Administrator’s account. Tap “Manage” under the “manage you Family Plan” tab.  Click “Remove” under the person you wish to remove.  Click on “Confirm”.  Spotify Family Plan Restrictions  Spotify has regulated Family Plan subscriptions with minor restrictions. These are: All the members of the family Plan must be residing under the same physical address. Members should be free/premium users who have directly purchased the service through Spotify and not through any third-party such as iTunes. Spotify Family cannot be used alongside other services such as student discounts. Users are charged the full amount even if they have slots unoccupied in the Plan. If you wish to discontinue the service and decide to cancel the plan, all the members will return back to a free subscription at the end of the billing period.
