How to get the best sound quality on Spotify?

How to get the best sound quality on Spotify?

Spotify allows users to change the streaming quality of the music or playlists users tune into. All they need is a premium Spotify subscription and they are good to go! Follow the set of instructions to improve your Spotify sound quality. Setting Spotify Streaming Quality Although Spotify will automatically set the right streaming quality, it’s also feasible for users to do it manually. This requires Spotify to use a higher quality for certain devices, especially for cases when people use Spotify with good audio equipment. Open the “Preferences” menu. On Mac, click Spotify > Preferences from the menu bar. On Windows, click on the three-dot menu button in the Spotify app. Then, select Edit > Preferences to access the menu. For iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, click on the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner of the “Home” page. Then, iPhone and iPad users will need to click on “Music Quality”. Using the “Preferences” menu, you can change the streaming quality under the “Music Quality” section. iPhone and iPad users can follow this step under the “Music Quality” menu. On Mac or Windows, tap on the “Streaming Quality” drop-down menu and select one of the options. Android, iPhone, and iPad users can select an option under the “Streaming” section. For Android,  iPhone, iPad, and Mac, this range will be from low to very high. On Windows, it will be from normal to very high. Select one of the options to change the quality. The setting will be applied automatically. You can easily test each quality setting to decide the best option for your device. Alternatively, you can revert back to the “Automatic” setting to allow Spotify to make the decision. How to Enable or Disable Spotify Volume Normalization? Volume is a tool used by music artists to determine the impact of their music. A louder song tends to have a different impact on listeners than a softer, quieter song. To smooth things out, Spotify uses a feature known as volume normalization. It ensures similar volume levels for any song played using Spotify. By default, this feature is enabled. To disable it, navigate to the “Preferences” menu. On Windows, click Edit > Preferences. Mac users will need to open the menu bar and press Spotify > Preferences. Android users should press the settings gear icon on the “Home” tab. Select the slider next to the “Normalize Volume” setting. iPhone and iPad users will need to click on the settings gear to access the “Preferences” menu and then tap Playback > Enable Audio Normalization. A green slider indicated that the feature is on and working, whilst a gray slider means off. This means that you’ll be able to listen to the music as the artist intended i.e. in full, unrestricted volume. However, if you want to leave volume normalization on, you can change the impact of the setting. Click on the “Volume Level” drop-down menu. Normal is a default setting for this feature. You can change it to either “Quiet” or “Loud,” depending on your preference. Using the Spotify Equalizer on Android, iPhone, and iPad Music Equalizer is used to allow users to adjust the volume levels for different types of audio. Spotify has an inbuilt equalizer that has a similar effect.   Although this feature is only available for Android, iPhone, and iPad users, you may be able to use it on Mac and Windows PCs with third-party software. On iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, select the settings gear icon under the “Home” tab.  For Android devices, tap the “Equalizer” option under the “Music Quality” section. For iPhone and iPad users, click on “Playback.” Then, select “Equalizer” under the “Playback” menu. Android users will be taken to the Android settings menu. Here, you can use apply different, preset frequency levels to your audio. The settings include normal, pop, classic, jazz, rock, as well as a custom tab to set your own equalizer settings. iPhone and iPad users can use Spotify’s built-in equalizer menu to set preset levels. You can set a preset option, or change the audio frequencies manually by moving the dots shown on-screen. To disable the equalizer, press the “Equalizer” slider. P.S.
