Cancel Shopify subscription or pause the Shopify store for minimal charges. Creating a Passive or Active income source from Shopify source is something that takes real-time. If you have done courses and learned from building a good-looking online store to market the store to actually make some money, then paying Shopify makes sense. But, if you are going nowhere with Shopify and it is just making a dent in your bank balance, it is better to take a lot of steps back and just close the Shopify account. Believe me, there is no point in investing money when you are generating nothing out of it and the future income from the store also does not look coming. Cancel or Pause the Shopify subscription following the below guides. How Do I Delete a Shopify Account? Step 1: Log in to your Shopify account, to access your Shopify Dashboard. Here, from the built-in menu, near the left side of your screen, select “Settings”. Step 2: Now, a lot of options will appear in front of your screen, select the “Account” option. Step 3: Now, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Below the “Store Status” section you will find three options: Hire a Shopify ExpertPause StoreSell or Close Store. Select, “Sell or Close Store” to close your store. Step 4: Clicking on, “Sell or Close Store” will trigger a window dialogue, asking you to provide your password. So, enter your password, and press “confirm”.  Step 5: Finally provide a reason behind your decision to close your account with Shopify, and press, “Close” to close your Shopify Account. How to Cancel Shopify subscription? Follow the above process, described for How to Delete Shopify account. How to Pause Shopify Subscription? Step 1: Log in to your Shopify account, and make sure to log in to the right account, if you are operating more than one account. Step 2: After logging in to your account, on the dashboard, you will find a built-in menu on the left, from the menu select, “Settings”, which you will find near the left corner of your screen. Step 2: Now, on the “Settings” page you will find a lot of options, select “Accounts”. Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of this page, until you find, “Store Status” section. Which will provide you three options: Hire a Shopify ExpertPause StoreSell or Close Store Select the “Pause Store” button to pause the Shopify subscription for up to three months.  Step 4: In this step, a form will appear in front of your screen.
