Step 1: While wearing the mask, swipe up on your phone and hold it in front of your face. It will recognize that you are wearing the mask, and your Face ID won’t work. So, your phone will take you to the passcode screen.

How to use your passcode instead of Face ID to unlock your iPhone

Step 1: First of all swipe up, while not looking directly at your phone.

Step 2: “Face ID” will pop up on your screen. Long tap it.

Step 3: A passcode screen will appear on your screen. Enter your passcode.

How to set a four-character passcode on your iOS device

Step 1: Open up the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Look for, the “Face ID & Passcode” option, and select it.

Step 3: Enter your current 6 digit passcode.

Step 4: Select, “Change Passcode”.

Step 5: Provide your current Passcode.

Step 6: Next, select, “Passcode Options” in blue.

Step 7: Now, the given below three options will appear on your screen:

  • 4-Digit Numeric Code
  • Four-digit code
  • Custom Numeric Code (six-digit code)

Select, “4-Digit Numeric Code”.

Step 8: Enter your new passcode. Enter it again, and verify the same.

How to unlock your iPhone with your Apple Watch?

Step 1: Open up the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Look for the “Face ID & Passcode” option and select it.

Step 3: Enter your passcode.

To unlock your iPhone with Apple Watch, tap the Settings app on your iPhone, then choose Face ID & Passcode. Next, login with your passcode.

Step 4: Scroll through the page to look for, the “Unlock with Apple Watch” section, and toggle on the switch for Apple Watch. This will enable you to unlock your iPhone with the Apple Watch.
