Why would you switch the Zoom host of a meeting? Well, if you’re the host of a Zoom meeting, if you simply leave the meeting it will end the meeting for all of the participants.

Sometimes you’re the host in a meeting, and forget that you have another meeting scheduled, and you need to leave the current meeting you’re in. Or maybe you have an urgent issue that’s just popped up. Whatever your reason is, you need to switch one of the participants to “host” in order for your participants to continue the meeting without you.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to switch another participant to the Zoom host in a meeting. Let’s get started!
