How to Mute Words or Phrases on Twitter on iPhone?
Step 1: Open up the Twitter app on your iPhone, and search for the word or phrase you want to mute.
Step 2: Long press the word you want to mute, a menu will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Select, “Mute”.
Step 5: Next set the duration, people, and places from where you want the word to be blocked.
How to Mute Words on Twitter on Android ?
Step 1: Open up the Twitter app on your phone, and click on your profile picture.
Step 2: From the opened menu select, “Settings and privacy” > “Privacy and safety” > “Mute and block.”
Step 3: Select, “Muted words.”
Step 4: Click on, “+”, and type in the word or phrase you want to mute.
Step 5: Set the duration, places, and people, for which you want to mute the words.
Step 6: On the Muted Words page you will see the word or list of words mentioned which you have muted.
How to Mute the Word on Twitter on Desktop?
Step 1: Open up the Twitter website and log into your account.
Step 2: Click, “More” on the side menu.
Step 3: A new menu will open up on the screen, here select: “Privacy and safety” > “Mute and block.”
Step 4: Select, “Muted words.”
Step 5: Then, click on the, “+” sign near the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 6: Type in the words you want to mute and select the places, people, and duration for which you would like to mute the words.
Step 7: Select, “Save”.
