How to cancel a LinkedIn invitation you’ve sent?

Step 1: Log into your LinkedIn, and select “My Network” from the top menu bar.

Step 2: Now, in the “Invitations” section, look for the “See all” option, and select it. 

Step 3:  In the “Manage invitations” section, click “Sent.”

Step 4:  Here, you will be able to see a list of people to whom you have sent the LinkedIn request. 

Now, for all those people to whom you no longer wish to connect, or who have sent the LinkedIn connection invite mistake, click the “Withdraw” button, next to them.

Step 5:  Confirm your decision to withdraw the request.

How to endorse someone else on LinkedIn?

Step 1:  Open up the LinkedIn website or app on your device, and sign in to your account. Then, click “My Network” from the top menu bar. Next, hit “Connections” and select the person from whom you want to write an endorsement. 

Step 2:  Now, you will find yourself on the profile page of the selected person. Here, go to the “Skills & Endorsements” section, pick the skill that you want to endorse.

Step 3:  Tap the blue plus (+) icon, next to the skill, and mark the skill  as:

  1. Good
  2. Very good
  3. Highly skilled

Step 4: Click “Select a relationship” to open a dropdown menu to specify your relationship with the individual. Click “Submit”.

How to accept a LinkedIn endorsement for yourself?

Step 1: Open up “notifications” from the top menu bar.

Step 2: Look for the endorsement in the notification.

Step 3: Accept the endorsement, by clicking on the, “Accept” button.
