Step 1: Open up the Home app on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Step 2: Click on the Home icon on the homepage screen of the Home app, to open up the menu.
Step 3: Select the Room in which you have assigned your Apple TV.
Step 4: Long press the Apple TV, to open up a new screen.
Step 5: Click on the Settings icon near the bottom-right of your screen.
Step 6: Look for, the “Default Audio Output” option and select it.
Step 7: Choose the HomePod in the same room as Apple TV to be the default speaker.
