How do I start my dishwasher? Step 1: Remove the food from the dishes, and load them into the dishwasher. Step 2: Then, add the detergent to the detergent dispenser. Step 3: Add the rinse aid if you have any. Step 4: Select the “Cycle” from the panel. The indicator light will glow, once the light has been selected. Step 5: Turn on the water from the tap. Set the temperature to heat the water. Turn off the tap when you are sure about the water level. Step 6: Hit, “Start”. Step 7: Make sure to close the door perfectly. How to troubleshoot Frigidaire Dishwasher? Step 1: Check the circuit breaker and power connection. And make sure that the dishwasher is receiving adequate electricity. Step 2: Then, check whether or not there is running water available. Step 3: Check the settings of the dishwasher, to see whether the “Delayed Start” or “Child Lock” are on, hindering the dishwasher from working. Step 4: See whether or not you closed the door immediately after selecting the cycle. In case you have not, again select the cycle, and then immediately close the door properly. Step 5: In case the door latch is broken, the dishwasher won’t work. So, fix the door latch.
