It is a whirlpool duet. I tried running a load but apparently someone had turned off the water to the machine. When I turned it on the motor to drain the water starts running, the only light that is on is the door locked, and none of the controls respond. I tried unplugging it for several minutes but that didn't help. I tried pushing the end of cycle button for 15 second but that didn't help.

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio washer and the lid won't unlock.
