I need to replace the U-clip / retainer clip onto the bracket that holds my shift cable (its missing) and don't know which direction it is meant to face or which side of the bracket it needs to be on. 2008 Scion tc, manual transmission, bracket is halfway between gear selector (cable ends) and firewall, inside engine bay.
