I've been working on a 02 Hyundai sonata and its not the original motor I don't think,, it's a v6 2.7 im pretty sure and I did the timing three times to make sure it was tensioned an exactly on marks and not the balancer , but it starts and it shakes super super bad, idles rough an worse in drive or reverse, the exhaust right off the block glows red hot before its even warm, I know there's little to no timing cover gasket and power steering leaks, and it smokes from right under the back of the engine bay from under the car... Also when I first did this I had no idea what we were doing and turned the cam sprockets counter an clockwise multiple times without the belt on.
