The oil level indicator on my Audi Q5 went haywire and was replaced two years ago. It seems to be going haywire again telling me to add oil when none is needed. I am being told that the problem is not with the oil level indicator, but that the engine was filled with too much oil at the last service and this has caused the oil level indicator to misdiagnose the oil level and call for adding more.
