Hi! So my friend has a nice Jeep Wrangler that I love to drive around. He often lets me drive it when we hangout. I asked him if one night I could take it off-roading with my 2 roommates and he said yes. He told me he needed to take my car though because he was driving to Alabama (3 hours away) to visit someone. So we switched cars for the night. My friends and I went off-roading on the trails I often went to with the Jeep owner and we had a lot of fun. We're 3 girls so we didn't go too hard on it. My friends actually complained that I was going too slow at some points. We all took turns driving on dirt roads and such and at the end we went to a park to listen to music, did a few donuts in the parking lot, and headed back home. about 10 minutes into our drive back home we noticed the steering wheel was very difficult to turn. We had to put all our body weight on it to turn it. When we accelerated we could turn easily, but when we slowed down the Jeep refused to turn unless we leaned really hard on the wheel. I ended up calling some of my guy friends back at the dorms and they checked it out and said we messed up the power steering, but also that it could've not been our faults. Keep in mind when my friends and I went out that was the third night in a row the Jeep had been offroading. The previous 2 nights it was the Jeep owner offroading. Anyways, the jeep owner just texted me saying repairs would be $1,320. He originally told us it couldn't be more than $800. He told me the power steering pump was completely broken and has to be flushed and that another "thing" was broken. I think my friends and I might go to the Jeep dealership (where its getting fixed) and ask if its a good chance we caused this, or if it could've happened overtime.

Jeep customer support and customer service can be contacted via phone, email, and chat. Like most companies, Jeep uses Call centers manned by agents to answer their customer inquiries. These call centers are located throughout the US and in many cases also India, the Philippines, and other foreign countries. Jeep customer support agents receive basic training to support Jeep models and maintenance services, and have access to customer information, purchase history, and prior customer support inquiries.
